Its party time.............rocking time @ O2 ,VIP Road , Kolkata

Its been over a month since I first posted on Blogger.Since then life had been really a mess.I had to deal with lot of assignments and deadlines that I didn't get the drive to write any thing.But all that changed today coz of a rocking party "Freshers Welcome" at O2 VIP Road ,Kolkata.I had never been part of any such party before.We enjoyed ourselves to the max and just let our feet do the talking.

The point I am trying to make here is the importance of such social gathering (read Parties) in a student's life when he goes through the rigors of professional courses such as PGDBM/PGPMM  etc.The best that happens to you at the end of the day is that you are refreshed and charged up and worst could be a bad hangover or it may get even worse if your girlfriend is cross because of you were constantly changing dance partners or vice versa(poor guy).

I can't tell what others feel but a party leaves you charged up and energetic and your body and mind both feel great after a rocking party.

We take things for granted when we get them easily but we only realise their importance after we part from them.That's what happened when I left Cuttack for my post grad diploma in Media in Kolkata on 25th June ,2007.Coming back home after four months,I can now feel what I had left behind.I had never given a single thought about the city thats home,a city that has got a lot to do with what I am today - good or bad its immaterail.

The things that I miss most is walking by the river Kathajodi,those long hours spent by the river not to mention the boat rides in those old fashioned boats,the whole place around Barbati stadium,Naraj(simply beautiful) & last but not least dahibara aludum(Raghu special) - the one thing that u get anywhere else in India.

I don't know where I am going to be five years from now but one thing is for sure - Cuttack will remain with me till the day I say my final good bye.
